Planning visits

If you are planning to bring a class to visit the Highland Folk Museum, we would advise that you make a planning visit beforehand. Please remember that a planning visit may count towards your annual 35 hours of CPD time - just remember to discuss this with your manager.

Hands on Guide

Hands On GuideIn 2008 the Highland Folk Museum is running a series of CPD sessions based around the Hands On Guide. An inspiring publication, full of ideas and practical tips, as well as links to the Curriculum for Excellence, Hands On was developed by learning experts at Glasgow Museums, with the help of teachers from Primary and Early Years settings.
