The Highland Folk Museum provides a range of wonderful learning opportunities for pupils of all ages. Whether you are looking for a visit to support a topic in class or objects to explore in the classroom, we have lots to offer.

Most visits are self led, although we can provide materials to enhance these visits and also offer free planning visits for teachers.

Environmental Projects at the Highland Folk Museum

The Countryside Ranger works at the Highland Folk Museum by prior arrangement. Bookings are made directly with the Ranger and teachers but in liaison with Museum staff. Teachers interested in involving the Ranger in their Museum visit should contact by telephone or email.

Telephone: Duncan Macdonald 01540 673907
Email: Duncan.macdonald@Highland.gov.uk

The Countryside Ranger will need 4-6weeks advanced warning regarding any booking and, because of work commitments, will accommodate schools on a first come basis.
